This is just a quick update to explain why there have been no updates for awhile.

If I had to answer in one word it would be this: Facebook.

Tammy was the more regular updater here, and she has since fallen in love with Facebook, which is much quicker to work with and provides far greater feedback in terms of the number of people who view what she posts. It's also much easier to put pictures and even video on Facebook than it is to put it here.

As a result, this site has fallen into a state of neglect. I'm not sure if that will continue. It's pretty much up to me to keep this blog going. But I don't see a big need to duplicate our efforts. If Tammy is going to keep everyone updated about our family on Facebook then I should either shut this site down or find a new purpose for it. But I doubt it will continue as a family blog for too much longer.

Maybe it will become the Nate blog, which will be sure to fascinate many readers....
