I think I'm overdo for a pregnancy update. Life has been pretty busy and I haven't kept close tabs on this pregnancy. I am now 7 months pregnant and aside from being tired and being uncomfortable with a BIG belly, I'm doing pretty good. I really can't complain!

As Nate mentioned in his weblog entry yesterday, I had my 3 hour glucose test today...which is NO FUN! This is a test to make sure I don't have gestational diabetes (the kind you can get while being pregnant). I failed the 1 hour test so the next step is the 3 hour test before they can diagnose you for sure. The 3 hour test required fasting (which is VERY difficult for a pregnant woman to do!) and then they draw your blood 4 separate times during a 3 hour period. And all 3 hours you must remain in the lab's stiff and uncomfortable chairs. Nate and Capri helped pass the time a little quicker by coming to visit me, which I absolutely LOVED! I'm just glad it's over now. I should get the results in a few days.

My belly is feeling (and looking) very big these days! I think I may have another BIG baby girl inside (Capri weighed 10lbs 1oz at birth). We are still trying to come up with a name for our 2nd daughter. It's been pretty tough because we LOVE Capri's name so much, it's hard for us to come up with another one we LOVE that much. But I'm sure it will happen sooner or later. My mom calls weekly with her list of names hoping we might just think about one of them :) It's been helpful, but no success yet from her lists. We have one name we both like, but we'll see if it sticks. But don't look for a BLOG update on what her name is going to be ...because even when we decide on one, we're going to keep it a surprise like we did with Capri's name. Just more fun that way :)

We are having RECORD high heat waves this past month and we are thanking God every single day for our new central air conditioning that we had put in our house back in March. Just today it was 106 and very humid. Especially being pregnant, I am SO grateful for air conditioning!!! God is good :)

As for Capri, she is getting bigger and smarter and cuter every day! She continues to learn more words and talks in almost complete sentences at times! She is a JOY and a bundle of energy! She will be 2 next month and we can't believe how time flies! We just bought her a toddler bed to sleep in so her sister can have the crib. She absolutely loves her new bed. She calls it her "new cool bed" and loves to play on it, read books and of course, sleep on it. You can see some photos in our photo gallery.
