We had a wonderful trip to Wisconsin to celebrate Capri's 1st birthday with Tammy's family. Capri got to play with her cousins, Josh and Ethan, and spend a few days with Grandpa John and Grandma Polly and Uncle Paul and Aunt Amy.

The weather was nice, despite the fact that on Thursday when we arrived they had a tornado warning which skirted by Paul and Amy's house. A tornado touched down just over an hour away and actually did a lot of damage. We all had to go to the basement and bring candles and stay there until the storm moved through (about 45 minutes).

It's been a wonderful week of celebration for our daughter's birthday. She has brought us so much joy in her first year.
