We are having summer weather here in San Diego. Yesterday it was 89 at our house and today it may have hit 90. We had a BBQ at our house with some friends but we all decided to hang out inside the nice, cool, air-conditioned house! We dusted off our portable air conditioner today and it worked great for the heat today. We recently bought black-out shades for our office and that helped SO much with blocking the sun. I think we just may be able to keep our house comfortable this summer :)

I joined a gym that is close to our house. It's been wonderful because they have a very safe and nice childcare right there so I can bring Capri with me to the gym, get a good workout in, shower and get ready all while she is in safe hands. So far she seems to enjoy it as well! I look forward to taking a swim one of these days in their pool and relaxing in the jacuzzi!

Nate sprained his thumb last night while playing basketball at church with the guys. I feel bad for him because it is swollen, hurts and he can't really use that hand at all.

We just had the best time playing with Capri before bedtime. Daddy was laying on the bed watching the Padres game and Capri and I came in to hang out before she went to bed. Daddy started tickling her and giving her zerberts on the tummy and she was CRACKING UP! She was laughing harder than we had ever seen her and even started to squeal when she saw Daddy coming towards her. She would try to get away by burying herself into Mommy! It was so much fun! She is such a cute baby and we just love her to pieces. She just crashed after that exciting playtime and she'll sleep now 'til 5:30 or 6am. Sweet Dreams Peanut.
