Today was the annual Brookside Yard Sale in our neighborhood. Any home that wanted to participate had a little yardsale in their own yard. And when you add up all the homes, probably 50+, it turns into a big event which draws lots of bargain shoppers.

Tammy and I had been saving items all year to sell at the yard sale. Tammy had been pricing and getting things ready for the sale for a couple weeks now. We started putting our stuff out just after 6am and even as we were setting up people were dropping in and buying items. It was pretty exciting.

We ended up hanging out and selling until 3pm. We sold most of the important things we wanted to get rid of and we ended up making about $250. We also bought a couple things for the house: a large bookcase and a lamp. All in all it was a fun time and it's nice to be able to see the garage floor again!
