Our family just drove back from Phoenix, AZ yesterday. We went there for a weekend spring training game and family get-together.

The drive out was very entertaining. During the 350 mile trek we managed to hit and kill 1 little bird and about 10,000 monarch butterflies. It was like driving through an insect blizzard. The following picture barely does it justice.

We had a great time visiting my cousin Rich, Deania, Jake and Julia...my aunts Dolores and Rosemary...My dad, Ai, Bob, Mike and Jean. The only unfortunate event was the Padres getting trounced 11-2 at the ball game.

Our original plan was to head up to Vegas after we left Phoenix, but Tammy came down with a really bad sickness during the trip so we decided it was best to head home. In fact, last night Tammy had a fever up over 100 degrees, so we're all glad to be home.
