Joy of Our Lives
What a joy Capri is in our lives. I didn't think she could get any cuter, but she really does! She is now 4-1/2 months old and seems to have grown by leaps and bounds this past month. She is a very happy baby, she loves to suck on her fists ALL the time, she loves to read books with Mommy and Daddy, she giggles, she rolls over, she loves to play with her feet, she plays in her saucer and bouncer, she can stand with almost no assistance, she is losing her hair, her eyes are turning a different color, she is the size of a 9 month old baby, she takes naps in her crib, and the list could go on forever!
Just tonight when I was reading her a book (Jesus A-Z) she was helping me turn the pages and she got so excited she even started giggling as I was reading the end of the book. She LOVES books!
This time that Nate has been on vacation has been so incredibly special. We just bonded sooooo much as a family and Capri and I love having him home with us all the time and going out and doing things together without being tired or stressed about work. I told Nate the other day that I wish we could win the lottery (used only as a phrase here because we don't even play the lottery) not because of the money in itself, but so that we didn't have to work and could be together as a family all the time. It's such a blessing!
On Monday we are going to have Capri's pictures taken. She has changed SO much from her last professional photos (6 weeks old). These will be fun because she can now smile and giggle and look into the camera. Hopefully all will go well...just have to decide on what outfit(s) to bring!!!
Life is good because God is good!
