Sunday was Capri's Baby Dedication. It was very nice and Capri looked adorable, of course. I'm bummed that I forgot to put on her matching satin shoes, but hopefully nobody else noticed. Afterwards we had a nice lunch with Capri's Grandpa, Paul.

Sunday night while cooking dinner I burned my left hand pretty bad...2nd degree burns. It was so bad that Nate stayed home with us on Monday because I couldn't pick up Capri since I couldn't use my left hand. We had a nice day on Monday and got to do some birthday shopping for me :)

Today is my birthday and I've had a wonderful day so far. Nate is back at work because my hand is healing nicely and I'm able to use it now. I awoke this morning to my husband singing Happy Birthday to me, which was so sweet. Capri and I went walking at Lake Murray this morning and then went grocery shopping. Just spending the day with Capri and the morning and evening with my husband is enough birthday celebration for me! They make me feel so special and so loved.

Tonight we have Home Fellowship so we won't be going out to dinner or anything like that. But, no big deal...I always enjoy going to Home Fellowship.

I can't believe I'm already 29. I don't feel a day over 19. I am so blessed to be where I am in life at this point. I have a beautiful family and a beautiful home...what more could I want for my 29th birthday! God is good and gracious and fills my life daily with so many blessings!
