Capri's surgery was yesterday and it went very well! I fed her right before she went in so she was nice and content. Nate met us there right after work. We took her back into the mini operating room and the nurse laid her down on the operating table. As soon as I saw her little tiny body on the big table I started to cry. The nurse told us she only needed one of us to stay and help hold Capri down. I volunteered Nate :)

I took that opportunity to leave because if I was already crying before they did anything I knew I would be in bad shape once they started. I went down to the pharmacy to get baby Tylenol which the Doctor suggested we might need. When I came back up I peaked my head in the waiting room and could hear her screaming! I left again and called my mom to help distract me. She did.

When I was done with my phone call I went back in the waiting room and she was no longer crying. The nurse came to get me and tell me she was doing fine. I went in the room and they were finishing up her stitches and Capri was doing just fine. I got to hold her right after they were done and then she slept the whole way home and most of the night.

She is doing just fine today. As if nothing happened. We went walking at Lake Murray today.
