Baby Face
Today we went to Babies 'R Us to shop for our final baby necessities. I think we're all ready for the baby now. We were able to buy the stroller/car seat with a gift card from my family...what a blessing! Nate installed the car seat in his car because when the baby comes we are going to switch cars (lucky for Nate) because Nate's car is a 4 door and easier to drive baby around in. The other car seat (gift from Nate's mom) is in my car.
This afternoon we had our first non-stress test at the hospital. They took my blood pressure (which was normal), monitored the baby's movements and heart rate (normal, and very active!), and measured the amount of amniotic fluid surrounding the baby (also normal). To do the fluid measurements they did an ultrasound. During the ultrasound I was able to see the baby's face so clearly! It was so exciting! Nate missed it because he had looked away for a second. I go for another non-stress test this Thursday.
Today I also found out that my mom lost her job :( It's a bummer and we were all shocked to find this out. But that just means that God has another/better job in store for her and He no longer wanted her at that job. God has been so faithful to take care of her and He certainly won't let her down now. She is in good hands and we have comfort knowing that!
