I had to stay home from church this morning because of pregnancy-related pain. This sure has been a tough pregnancy...but the blessing in all of this is that the baby is healthy. We continue to pray that the labor and delivery will not have any complications.


It seems sooooooooo long ago that we found out and announced to everyone that I was pregnant. We are very excited to finally meet our reward...Baby Herron.


Yesterday we finished the baby's room. We (we these days usually means Nate did it and I watched) hung the window curtains, clock, mirror, shelves and a couple more accessories. I also disassembled the diaper cakes that someone made for me at my work shower and put away all the cute stuff that came with them. We will take pictures soon and post them for you to see!


I also made my "who to call list" to take to the hospital and filled out my birth plan. My next task will be to pack my hospital bag...since it won't be long now!


We look forward to all the visitors we will have to help us with our new baby, or just to visit :) So far, my dad will be the first one to stay with us and hopefully be here when the baby is born. Then my mom will come for a week, shortly after the baby is born. And I just found out yesterday that my brother and his wife (and kids?) are going to try to make it out for a weekend in September!!!! We also hope to see Nate's relatives when and if they can make the trip. Of course, Grandpa Herron is only a short drive from us so that is nice.
