shaken not stirred
We had an earthquake last week. I was driving in the car just about to pull into the driveway. I didn't feel anything. But Tammy was home and she said the whole house shook pretty good. She thought a truck had run into the house and was looking out all the windows to see where the damage was. Our house is fine, though.
The good thing about earthquakes (especially the little ones) is they don't last very long. It didn't take us much time to forget that it ever happened.
Today was my first official Father's Day. What a blessing to be able to raise a child. May God have mercy on my little family. We need it...for sure!
In other news, I think I've figured out that one of the trees in my back yard is a peach tree. Unfortunately, the tree hasn't even blossomed, let alone produced any furry fruit, so I still could be wrong.
